Cephalexin 750mg Capsules are a common antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, including those of the skin, bones, ears, throat, and urinary tract. However, like any medication, it comes with a list of potential side effects that can range from mild to severe. If you've been prescribed Cephalexin, it's crucial to be aware of the urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention, such as signs of an allergic reaction, severe skin reactions, and liver problems, to name a few. Additionally, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, while common, can sometimes lead to more serious conditions like C. diff-associated diarrhea (CDAD). Always consult your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms.

I was given Cephalexin for a skin infection and initially, I had no issues, but started to experience abdominal cramps and diarrhea after a few days. Should I be worried?

Side effects are no joke. I had a severe reaction to an antibiotic once and ended up in the hospital. If you notice anything unusual, don't wait—get to the ER.

I felt so weak and tired when I was on Cephalexin. I thought it was just the infection, but it turned out to be a side effect. Doctors need to warn patients about these side effects more thoroughly before starting the medication.

Be careful with antibiotics, folks. My friend’s doctor prescribed this for a UTI and the doctor failed to mention the diarrhea side effects, which caused her to stop midway through the treatment. The UTI came back with a vengeance next week.
