I've been prescribed Cetirizine/pse 5-120mg Tablets for my allergies and have a few concerns that my doctor couldn't fully address. I've read the side effects and they seem scary, but I want to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with this medication. If you have, what did you do? I'm curious to hear about people's overall experiences with this medication. How effective is it? What kind of side effects did you experience? I'm also interested in hearing from people who have tried to manage the side effects — how did you do it? Did you find anything helps counteract those?

Does anyone else feel jittery and nervous after taking these? It feels like my heart is going to jump out of my chest. I have to lay down and lay still. And is it true that the jittery feeling is more common in people over 60?

I've had good luck with these, but I did have to take a lower dose to avoid the dizziness. Yeah, it's a bit annoying, but it beats the heck out of having a stuffy nose. That's what I say. If you're feeling dizzy, your doctor might consider adjusting your dose. I've heard that some people can get away with a lower dose — even half of the recommended dose. But don't make that decision on your own. Talk to your doc.

I've taken these for years and they work great. I get a bit of dizziness but it's worth it for the relief from a stuffy nose

I love how well these work, but the dizziness is terrible. It's like I'm walking on a boat. Definitely plan to take them when you don't have to drive or do anything important. And also note that some people say they feel like they're on a boat while taking Cetirizine/pse. It's their way of describing the confusion and disorientation they feel. The effects will kick in within an hour and last for a few hours before they tend to wear off. Try to avoid driving if you feel this way.
