It's a great place if you enjoy outdoor activities. There are plenty of opportunities for kayaking and paddle boating. The biodiversity there is truly amazing
I disagree, it's overrated. I found the crowds to be overwhelming and the boat rides were quite expensive. I expected more from such a famous spot.
The best time to visit is definitely during the winter. The weather is pleasant, and you can see a variety of migratory birds.
Have you thought about hiring a local guide? They can take you to the best spots and share plenty of insights about the area.
Chilka Lake is absolutely stunning! I went during the winter migration season and saw thousands of birds. The sunset view from the lake is breathtaking.
I saw some beautiful photos from Chilka, but I also heard the roads are terrible. Anyone know if that's true?
