Chlorpromazine 25mg Tablets are used to manage various conditions, including schizophrenia, severe nausea, vomiting, and intractable hiccups. This medication works by affecting natural substances in the brain, which can help mitigate symptoms of these conditions. However, like any medication, Chlorpromazine comes with a range of possible side effects, from mild to severe. While some people may experience only minor issues like drowsiness or constipation, others might face more serious problems such as neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) or tardive dyskinesia. It's crucial to be aware of these potential side effects and to seek medical attention if any severe symptoms arise. Has anyone had experience with Chlorpromazine, good or bad? How did you manage the side effects?

One of the worst experiences I had with this medication was the weight gain. It's a bit discouraging to see the number on the scale going up. However, I'm grateful for the relief it brings from severe nausea and vomiting.

I've heard some horror stories about tardive dyskinesia. Is anyone else dealing with it? What kind of help did you get from the doctor? I'm really scared to try this medication.

If you're experiencing hormonal changes like enlarged breasts or menstrual changes, it's essential to inform your doctor. They can adjust the dosage or switch you to a different medication that might work better for you. This happened to me, and now I'm on a different medication that doesn't have those side effects.

I used to get really bad hiccups, like, uncontrollable ones, and Chlorpromazine helped a ton. Just be careful, keep an eye out for any weird symptoms. My hiccups were gone in a couple days! Pretty amazing!

What’s the first thing that stood out with side effects? Any one have experience with abnormal heartbeat? It just seems so dangerous. I am really nervous to try this.

I've been on Chlorpromazine for a while now and honestly, the drowsiness is a bitch. I've had to adjust my sleep schedule completely, but it's manageable.

I wish people who prescribed these meds would have better policies on dosage. Some of us are more sensitive, and it takes a while to get it right.

I've been taking Chlorpromazine for about 6 months, and it's been a lifesaver for my schizophrenia. But I had to talk to the doctor to adjust my dosage because the side effects were too harsh, especially the severe dizziness.

Side effects happen. But I think it's worth it for the relief from schizophrenia. It's a trade off. Just be sure to stay in touch with a doctor through the whole time you're taking it.
