I've been using Ciclopirox 1% Shampoo for about a month now to treat my seborrheic dermatitis. It's been helping with the flaking and itching, but I'm a bit worried about some of the side effects listed. Has anyone else experienced any issues, or is it generally well-tolerated? I've also noticed a slight change in my hair color, which is mentioned as a possible side effect. Should I be concerned about this, or is it normal? Any insights or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had a rash and swelling after the first use. Pretty scary stuff. I'd recommend starting with a small patch test before applying it all over.

I’ve been using Ciclopirox for a few months now. The change in hair color was a bit alarming at first, but my doctor assured me it’s temporary. Make sure you talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. I've noticed a significant reduction in itching and redness. It’s important to follow the instructions carefully. I use it 2-3 times a week, and it’s been manageable so far. I also use a gentle conditioner to prevent further irritation. Overall, it’s worth the effort if you’re struggling with seborrheic dermatitis.

Has anyone else had issues with it causing more dryness? My scalp feels like the Sahara afterwards.

I have been using Ciclopirox 1% Shampoo for about two months now. It's been a game-changer for my seborrheic dermatitis. I've experienced no side effects, and my scalp feels much better. I use it 2-3 times a week, and it's helped reduce flaking and itching significantly. I also make sure to rinse it thoroughly to avoid any irritation. I'd recommend talking to your doctor before starting any new treatment, especially if you have sensitive skin. I've found that it works best when combined with a gentle, moisturizing conditioner. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re dealing with scalp issues.

I had no idea this shampoo could cause such severe reactions. Good thing I didn’t have to deal with that. I'm definitely going to keep this in mind if I ever need to use it again. Thanks for the heads-up, everyone!

I've been using it for a while and noticed a slight change in hair color, but nothing too drastic. As long as it’s working, I’m fine with a bit of discoloration.
