I'm scheduled to start chemotherapy soon, and my doctor recommended Cinvanti to help manage nausea and vomiting. I've read about the potential side effects, and I'm a bit worried. Has anyone else used this medication? What was your experience like? I'm particularly concerned about the more severe side effects mentioned, such as allergic reactions and skin issues. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly found that having my chemo and Cinvanti at a hospital was the best way to go. They usually have really good nurses who can help with any problems and you can get the care you need right away.

I found that taking it with an anti-nausea medication helped a lot. My onocologist recommended it just in case the cinvanti didn't work. I don't know what it's called but it helped a lot with the nausea.

If you're super worried, maybe ask your doctor about alternative medications or premedication steps to reduce nausea and vomiting. There are a lot of options out there, and everyone's body responds differently.

Why do they only mention 7 other side effects? I had all of them and more. Also, why does this drug has a 25-30% chance of causing darkening of the skin?? There are some good points just saying hey it works but I can't stress how much it sucks. Also I lost a bunch of hair. The hives were miserable. The rash was pretty bad too.
