Hey everyone, I recently had a procedure where I was given Cisatracurium by injection. I had an interesting experience and wanted to share. The doctor explained that it would temporarily paralyze me to make the surgery easier. I was already nervous, but the idea of being paralyzed was terrifying. In the end, it was a smooth procedure, but it got me curious. Does anyone else have experience with this drug? I had some side effects, but they were mild, and everything went fine. Patiently waiting for a discussion.

Be careful with these drugs. I once had a friend who had a rare allergic reaction to a similar muscle relaxant. It was scary, and he had to be rushed to the ER.

It's insane how these drugs can paralyze you. It's a bit scary to think about, but I guess it's necessary for some surgeries. Has anyone heard about any long-term effects?

It's crucial to report any side effects to your doctor or the FDA. Severe reactions like seizures and allergic reactions are rare, but they can be fatal. Better safe than sorry.

If you're going under the knife, make sure to talk to your doctor about what to expect. It's better to be prepared.

I'm just glad you're okay! It's always good to hear more information from people who've been through it.
