Citranatal 90 DHA Pak is a daily vitamin and mineral supplement specifically designed for pregnant and breastfeeding women. It provides important nutrients like folic acid (L-methylfolate), iron, calcium, and DHA (an omega-3 fatty acid) that are essential for your health and your baby's development, especially for their brain and eyes. This product is formulated without preformed Vitamin A. The possible side effects are mentioned so you are prepared ahead of time. For those who have been pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant, has anyone tried these vitamins? I want to know if they had a good experience or if they think they're not necessary.

Y'all are making me second guess my prenatal vitamins. I'm going to check out Citranatal 90 DHA Pak. Has anyone here switched brands and noticed a difference?

I found Citranatal 90 DHA Pak to be pricey compared to other prenatal vitamins, but worth it for the specific nutrients tailored for pregnancy and breastfeeding. For those who have stomach pain as a side effect, try taking it with food and see if it helps.

I switched to Citranatal from another brand because I felt it was a bit easier to swallow. I experienced a stomach ache at first but it went away. I'd recommend it overall.

I had to switch because I was pretty allergic to some other vitamins and Citranatal has worked really well for me. Do you have any preferences between the flavored and unflavored versions? I've only tried unflavored.

I took regular prenatal vitamins that also included DHA, they were all the same to me. Side effects were minimal and I felt confident my baby was getting all the nutrients.

I agree, the description of black, tarry stool is scary. I definitely didn't want that side effect, so I kept an eye out but I never experienced them.
