I've been prescribed Cleocin T 1% Lotion for acne and I am interested in hearing from others who have used it. How effective was it for you? Cleocin T was a game-changer for me. It cleared up my acne, but I did have some dryness and redness initially. My doctor suggested using it twice a day but also emphasizing sunscreen usage because the lotion made my skin more sensitive to the sun.
I also used this and it cleared up my acne. Apply a thin layer and do not overuse. I also noticed that it works well with moisturizers. Make sure to wash your hands before and after application. Sometimes I applied it before bed and that seemed to work the best for me.
Has anyone else had issues with severe allergic reactions? I experienced hives and swelling of the lips after a few applications but I never thought it could be from a topical acne treatment. It was scary!
Be careful with this stuff. I had horrible diarrhea after using it for a few weeks. Turns out it was C. diff and I had to be hospitalized. It's so rare but I wish I would have known to look out for it.
I used Cleocin T for a while and it was great, but I had to stop because my skin was too oily and it made my skin extremely oily after a month.
