I'm starting Clindamycin 900mg/50ml Inj treatments in a week and want to know about potential side effects. I got Clindamycin once for a bad infection. I had diarrhea, stomach pain, and felt extremely tired. The doctor said that fever, chills, or sore throat were signs of a more severe reaction. I didn't have any of those, but it was still a tough time. Also, pay attention to any changes in your urine.
I had to use Clindamycin for a bad infection. The side effects were rough. I experienced some pretty severe stomach issues and bad taste in my mouth. It was awful and I felt terrible. Talk to your doctor about managing these side effects. Bad taste was the worst for me, worse than cramps, and I had both and had to keep drinking water and eating tons of mint leaves to dull it down.
Severe skin reactions and kidney issues are the main concerns with Clindamycin. If you notice any changes in your skin, swelling, or joint pain, call your doctor immediately. I had some minor joint pain and it turned out to be nothing, but I always err on the side of caution. They're rare but fuck everything else is nothing.
