I've been using Clindamycin/Benzoyl 1%/5% Gel for the past few months to treat my acne. At first, it seemed to be working, but then I started experiencing some severe side effects. I developed a rash and had trouble breathing, which was terrifying. I immediately sought medical attention, and my doctor confirmed that these were allergic reactions to the medication. They recommended stopping the use of the gel and switching to a different treatment. I'm sharing my experience to raise awareness about the potential side effects of this medication and to encourage others to be vigilant about their health. Have any of you experienced similar side effects, and how did you cope? Let's discuss our experiences and help each other out!

Wow, that sounds really scary. I've had some burning and itching with this gel, but nothing like what you described. I hope you're feeling better now!

I think it's so important to talk about these things. I had a minor irritation on my face, and it turned out to be an allergy to the gel. I had no idea it could be so bad, but now I know to be careful. Thanks for sharing!

I've been using Clindamycin/Benzoyl 1%/5% Gel for a while now, and while I haven't had any severe side effects, I do experience some dryness and irritation. I've found that applying a moisturizer after the gel helps a lot. I'm glad you're okay though, and thanks for sharing your story. It's always important to be cautious with medications.

I was shocked to learn about the potential for life-threatening side effects. I had no idea it could be so dangerous. I've been using it for a few weeks and haven't noticed anything yet, but I'll definitely be more vigilant now.

I had a similar experience with another acne medication and it was awful. Now I'm super cautious with everything I put on my skin. It's so important to listen to your body and seek medical help if something doesn't feel right.

I had a bad experience with this gel too. It gave me a rash and made my skin feel like it was on fire. I stopped using it right away and went to see a dermatologist. They prescribed a different topical cream, and it's worked much better for me.
