I've been on Clobazam 2.5mg/ml Suspension for a few months now to control my seizures, and I've had mixed experiences. On one hand, it's significantly reduced the frequency of my seizures, which is amazing. On the other hand, the side effects have been rough. I've had some dizziness, drowsiness, and even a bit of confusion. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues and if there are any tips to manage these side effects better. Also, I've heard some scary things about sudden withdrawal symptoms. How do others handle tapering off if needed? I'd love to hear your experiences and any advice you might have. Thank you!

I just started Clobazam and it has been a game changer for my Lennon-Gastaut. Seizures have decreased a lot. I've had some minor side effects but nothing too bad.

I’ve had a few bad side effects, but my doc says it’s better to take it for a while and monitor it than to stop it suddenly. Anyone else have experience with this?

Here's some advice that really helped me: take the medicine with food to lessen the impact on the stomach. I had nausea at the beginning and some constipation, but eating a balanced meal before taking the medicine helped a lot. Also, stay hydrated and sleep well. It’s hard to manage side effects without taking care of your body.

I think it's important for anyone taking Clobazam to be aware of the potential for suicidal thoughts. It's scary, but if you're experiencing it, seek help immediately.

I’ve been on this medication for 4 months now. I had a serious reaction when I tried to stop suddenly. It was terrifying. Now I’m careful to taper off under medical supervision. It's not worth the risk of sudden withdrawal symptoms.

I've been on Clobazam for a while now, and the dizziness was tough at first. I found that taking it with food and drinking plenty of water helped a lot. Also, make sure to talk to your doctor about any sudden changes in your medication.

I've found that keeping a journal of side effects and symptoms has been really helpful. You can show it to your doctor and they can adjust your dose or switch you to something else if needed.

For those with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, Clobazam has been a life-changer. But you have to be patient. It took me a while to find the right dosage, and it seems like I have to adjust it every so often. My doc says it’s normal. Just be persistent and work closely with your healthcare team.

How do you guys handle the drowsiness? It’s been really tough for me to stay awake during the day.

Clobazam can definitely cause some weird side effects, but it’s worth it for the control over seizures. If anyone is experiencing skin reactions, get to a hospital ASAP. It could be Stevens-Johnson syndrome or something similarly serious.
