Clobetasol propionate lotion is a high-potency steroid medicine that's highly effective in reducing redness, itching, and swelling for skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. It's applied topically and should only be used for a short duration as prescribed by a doctor. The urgent side effects can be life-threatening. If you notice any signs like allergic reactions, high blood sugar, Cushing's syndrome, or a weak adrenal gland, seek medical help immediately. It's crucial to be informed about all the potential risks before using this medication.

Is it normal to feel a burning sensation when you first apply it?

I had some bad skin irritations last time I used it — but then again, I might have been using it too often. The skin in the area became super dry, and the dermatitis got a lot worse. It did help in the short term but the long-term wasn't worth it.

I have psoriasis and this lotion helped a lot, but I noticed some skin thinning after a while. Definitely not something to use long-term. I stopped using it as soon as I noticed.

I had a weird feeling in my chest once after applying it. Definitely gonna talk to my doctor about it. I don’t want to risk it.

I've used this for psoriasis, and it worked wonders. Just be super careful with the application and make sure you don't use it for long periods. I felt my heart beating faster after usage and had to stop entirely.

I don't understand why over use is an issue. Can someone explain?
