I had a really bad reaction to Clotrimazole. I woke up with hives and a burning sensation all over. I had to go to the ER and got some steroids. It was scary, so I would be careful.
I had a friend who had a severe allergic reaction to this. Swelling, hives, the works. Definitely read the warning signs and stop using if you see any of those.
I used Clotrimazole for jock itch a few years back and it worked wonders. Took about two weeks, and I didn't have any major side effects. Just make sure you apply it exactly as directed.
This stuff is a lifesaver, but I did get some irritation the first few times I used it. Turns out I was applying it too much. Once I started doing it once a day, it was fine.
