I've been using Clotrimazole A/f 1% Cream for the past week to treat a persistent case of athlete's foot, and I've noticed some side effects that I wanted to share. The cream has been effective in reducing the itching and burning, but I've also experienced some redness and irritation around the application area. I read that these side effects were possible and tried to follow the instructions to the letter but still experiencing some discomfort. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or know if there's a way to mitigate these side effects? I'm also curious about the allergic reactions listed. Should I be worried about these, or are they extremely rare? Also, has anyone had to report side effects to the FDA, and if so, how was the process?

Has anyone tried any natural remedies alongside this cream? I heard tea tree oil can also help with athlete's foot.

I had a really bad experience with this cream. I used it on a fungal infection on my foot and ended up with a burning sensation that made it feel like my foot was on fire! I had to stop using it and see a doctor.

Side effects suck, but if you're having a bad reaction your body is just telling you something's not right. So listen! If the cream is causing more problems than it's solving, maybe you should ask your doctor about a different treatment. I’ve had success with Lamisil but I don’t know if that’s an option for everyone.

I've had good experiences with Clotrimazole, but I've also had bad ones. It seems like it really depends on the individual and the specific type of infection. If you're experiencing bad side effects, it might be worth trying a different antifungal cream. There are plenty of options out there.

I had a really bad case of jock itch and this cream cleared it right up. No side effects for me, but I did make sure to keep the area clean and dry. Also, I used it for a full 2 weeks even after the symptoms went away, just to make sure it was all gone. I think that helped a lot.
