I recently started Columvi (glofitamab) for my DLBCL and I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How has the infusion process been for you? Have you experienced any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about the more severe side effects, like infection or nervous system problems. Any tips on dealing with the potential side effects? I'm new to this, so any insights would be greatly appreciated — I'm looking to make the most of this treatment while minimizing the impact of any side effects.

Dude, this is not chemotherapy? No hair loss?

Yeah, tumor lysis syndrome is no joke. My doctor advised me to stay hydrated and monitor my electrolytes carefully. It's a pain, but it's better than the alternative. I've also been taking some anti-nausea meds to manage the stomach issues. It's been a rough ride, but worth it if it helps fight the cancer.

Be prepared for the potential side effects. I had a severe allergic reaction after my first infusion. My throat felt tight and I had trouble breathing. It was scary, but the doctors were ready with epinephrine. It's important to know the signs and symptoms and to have medical help nearby.

I've heard some horror stories about tumor lysis syndrome. I was lucky, but I know someone who had to be hospitalized and went through dialysis. I guess it depends on your cancer load before treatment.

I've had some fatigue and muscle pain, but nothing I can't handle. The staff at the clinic has been super helpful in managing my symptoms. They gave me some tips on nutrition and exercise to help boost my energy levels. I’ve also been using a heating pad for my muscle pain, and it’s made a world of difference.

Just a heads up, but if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, don’t wait it out—get to the hospital ASAP. I almost didn’t and it was a close call.

Has anyone experienced any neurological side effects? I've been having some weird numbness in my hands and feet, and it's a bit worrying. I'm not sure if it's related to the Columvi or something else.

I've been lucky so far, but I’m always prepared for the worst. The side effects list is a bit scary, but my doctor assured me that most people don't experience the major ones. Fingers crossed!

I've been on Columvi for a few months now, and honestly, the infusions aren't as bad as I thought they'd be. The nurses make sure you're comfortable, and they monitor you closely. I've had some nausea and fatigue, but nothing too severe. Just make sure to stay hydrated and rest as much as possible.

My wife just started Columvi, and she's been feeling really run down. Just general fatigue and a bit of nausea, but nothing too bad so far. We're just taking it one day at a time and hoping for the best. Any tips on managing the fatigue would be great—I'm trying to make life as easy as possible for her.
