Coly-Mycin M 150mg Inj: My Experience and Concerns about Kidney Issues
I was recently prescribed Coly-Mycin M 150mg Inj for a severe infection, and while I understand it's necessary, I can't help but be worried about the potential side effects, especially kidney problems. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any tips for managing the side effects. I'm particularly concerned about the signs of kidney problems mentioned in the side effects. How serious are these symptoms, and what can I do to monitor my health effectively while on this medication? I want to be prepared for any changes in urine output or other signs. I've also been reading quite a lot about cuprophan and polyacrylate. I'm just wondering if anyone knows the difference between these and any implications for side effects of this drug. Again, how serious are the symptoms? I feel like I'm not getting enough information from my doctor. Has anyone else felt the same? I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to stay safe while on this medication.

I had a bad experience with this drug. I ended up with kidney issues. Monitor your urine output and get regular blood tests. If you notice anything weird, go to the hospital right away.
I think the worst part for me was the dizziness. I felt like I was on a never-ending roller coaster. Make sure you have someone with you when you first start taking this medication. That's what I did.
I didn't know anything about this drug until I was prescribed it, and honestly, I feel like I still don't. Has anyone found any resources that explain it in more detail? I'm mostly concerned about the serious side effects and what to do if they happen.
I was worried about the breathing difficulties mentioned in the side effects, but I haven't had any issues so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
I have a funny anecdote - my leg swelled up like a balloon when I first took this. I looked like I had a second knee. Luckily, it went away after a couple of days. Almost jokingly, I thought about putting a sign on my leg that says 'caution: Do not prick!'
