I had a bad experience with this drug. I ended up with kidney issues. Monitor your urine output and get regular blood tests. If you notice anything weird, go to the hospital right away.
I think the worst part for me was the dizziness. I felt like I was on a never-ending roller coaster. Make sure you have someone with you when you first start taking this medication. That's what I did.

I have a funny anecdote - my leg swelled up like a balloon when I first took this. I looked like I had a second knee. Luckily, it went away after a couple of days. Almost jokingly, I thought about putting a sign on my leg that says 'caution: Do not prick!'
