I was recently prescribed Combivent Respimat for my COPD. The inhaler contains both ipratropium and albuterol, which are supposed to help open up my airways. It's not a rescue inhaler, so I need to use it regularly and not just when I'm having trouble breathing. I've read the possible side effects, which are a bit scary, but I hope it helps manage my symptoms. Has anyone else used this inhaler? What was your experience like? Did you have any side effects to watch out for?

Is there a significant difference between Combivent Respimat and other inhalers like Spiriva? I've used Spiriva for a long time, but my doctor switched me to Combivent. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I’d be careful with the red eyes. I thought I had an eye infection at first, but it was a side effect of the medication. Definitely worth asking your doctor about.

I had to stop using Combivent because it made me feel really jittery and excited all the time. It was a little hard to deal with and made my daily tasks tougher.

I find Combivent helpful but I still carry my rescue inhaler just in case. Safety first!

Combivent has been a game-changer for me. I used to struggle with bothersome nose or throat irritation from other inhalers, but I haven't had any issues with Combivent. I take it before exercising, and it helps me breathe properly.
