I got a rash a few weeks after starting Complera. It wasn't too bad at first, but it spread quickly and I started feeling feverish. I went to the ER and they told me it was a severe allergic reaction. I had to stop taking Complera and switch to a different med.
I had a really bad experience with Complera. I started feeling extremely tired and weak, and my muscles were hurting all the time. Turns out it was lactic acidosis. I had to stop taking it immediately. It was scary, but I'm doing better now on a different med. Be vigilant, folks!
Is it normal to feel like you're coming down with the flu when you start taking Complera? My doctor said it could be an immune system reaction, but it's still worrying.
I had some trouble sleeping when I first started taking Complera. It was rough, but I managed with some over-the-counter sleep aids. It got better after a few weeks. Just be patient and talk to your doctor if it gets bad.
