I've had great results with Methylprednisolone. It's helped control my allergies without too many side effects. I got some insomnia but doc changed my dose and it cleared up
Make sure to have a healthy diet and exercise regularly. It can help mitigate some of the side effects and improve your overall health too
I didn't experience anything terrible but I did put on weight while I was on it and it didn't come off for months after I had stopped.
I was on this for a while for my asthma. The weight gain and mood swings were the worst. But it did help with the inflammation. Make sure to discuss the side effects with your doctor and monitor them closely.
Be prepared to have your blood sugar levels checked. They can go haywire, especially if you have diabetes. If you're eating correctly and exercising, you should be okay though.
