I've been on Contrave ER 8-90mg Tablets for a few months now, and I've had a mix of positive and negative experiences. Anyone else using contrave? I've found that it really helps with controlling my appetite and cravings, which is great for weight loss. Contrave combines naltrexone and bupropion, and it's designed to target the brain areas that control appetite and cravings. However, I've also experienced some side effects like headaches and nausea, which can be tough to deal with. I've read that it can sometimes cause more severe side effects, so it's important to be aware of those. I've been meaning to ask my doctor about some of these symptoms, but I've been too busy to schedule an appointment. Has anyone else experienced serious side effects that they had to get medical help for? I've also wondered about the long-term effects of taking this medication. Is it something you can stop taking or do you have to be on it for a while to actually lose the weight and keep it off? Any advice is appreciated.

Contrave helped me lose a little weight, but the headaches were too much. I switched to another medication and it's been much better. Funny, my doctor was really hesitant to prescribe something else, but I was really feeling the pain.

If you're considering Contrave, make sure to discuss the potential side effects with your doctor. It's crucial to weigh the benefits against the risks, especially if you have a history of liver problems or high blood pressure. I don't know how it is with weight-related problems, but I had trouble with cholesterol

I just started taking Contrave and I've had some nausea. Wondering if anyone else experienced the same and how long it lasted.

I've had some trouble with restlessness and trouble sleeping. Any tips on how to manage these side effects would be appreciated. Also, I've heard that Contrave can increase blood pressure. Has anyone else experienced this?

Contrave has been a real struggle for me. I've had some serious side effects and I'm really looking into alternative options. I've had some mild things go on, but my brother was put in the hospital, and he had severe high blood pressure issues.

Contrave has been a lifesaver for me. I've lost 20 pounds in the last six months, but I did have to adjust to some initial side effects. My doctor said they usually go away after a few weeks, which was true for me. And FYI, contrave isn't for everyone, and it's important to talk to your doctor before starting any new medication.
