I've been taking Corgard (Nadolol) 40mg for the past six months to manage my high blood pressure and angina. As a beta-blocker, it's been effective in slowing down my heart rate and relaxing my blood vessels. However, I've experienced some side effects, including fatigue and dizziness. I want to hear from others who have taken this medication. What side effects have you encountered? How long did it take for them to subside? Has anyone had issues with more severe side effects like allergic reactions or heart failure? It's important to share our experiences so others can be informed. Here's a list of serious side effects to be aware of: signs of an allergic reaction (rash, hives, itching, swelling, wheezing, trouble breathing), severe dizziness or fainting, chest pain, slow heartbeat, and symptoms of heart failure. If you've had any of these, I'd love to hear your story. Let's discuss and support each other!

I've been on Corgard for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my angina. No more chest pain during workouts, but I did experience some initial dizziness. It went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day, and you should be good to go.

Glad to hear it's working for you! I started taking it a few weeks ago and have noticed some fatigue. Just wanted to check if this goes away or if it's a permanent thing.

Beta-blockers can sometimes cause weight gain and swelling in the legs. I gained about 10 pounds, and my doctor mentioned it could be because of the medication. I heard some people even had heart failure issues.

I wish I could take this medication as it seems to work really well for many people. I can't take beta-blockers because of my asthma. It's a bummer, but I'll stick with my current medication.

I had a bit of a scare with my heart rate dropping too low on this medication. I'm sure my doctor will adjust the dosage, but I wanted to mention the experience as a reminder to monitor your heart rate closely.

I couldn't believe how quickly it lowered my blood pressure. I had to keep a close watch on it to make sure it didn't drop too low. But overall, it's been a lifesaver.
