I'm looking for some insights from parents who have had their kids receive the Pfizer Bivale 5-11 vaccine. How has the experience been? What kind of side effects did your child have? Any tips for making the day go smoothly? Does anyone have experience with the V-safe smartphone tool? How easy was it to report side effects? I'm trying to decide what to expect and want to hear from other parents.

My daughter got the vaccine and was super irritable afterwards. She cried a bunch and slept all day. But she was fine the next day. I think it's important to just give them a quiet day to recover.

I knew someone who had a really bad reaction to the vaccine. They ended up in the ER and in the hospital for a week. I'm not sure I want to have this happen to my child. It's scary.

We used V-safe and it was really helpful. The day after vaccination, my son reported no issues, but by the second day, he reported a mild fever and chills. We reported it, and it was easy to use, and the CDC gave me some advice. My child was fever-free the next day.

I got my 8-year-old vaccinated last month, and it went pretty smoothly. She had a bit of soreness at the injection site and felt tired the next day. Nothing that a good night's sleep couldn't fix, though. I'd recommend having a quiet day for them, but other than that, it was pretty uneventful, if anyone is hesitant out there.

I'm not convinced that the vaccine is safe for kids. The side effects can be really bad. I'm not sure I want to risk it.

I think it's important to note that while my kid had side effects, they were mild and short-lived. I was a bit nervous because of all the talk about heart problems, but I think the risk of getting COVID is way worse. I just want my kid to be safe.

This brings back memories. We gave our kid a dose of Tylenol before bed and he slept through the night. No side effects the next day.

I'm glad I did my research before vaccinating my child. I found a lot of helpful information on the CDC website. I don't know what I would have done without that.

My kid had a bad reaction to the vaccine. We experienced severe dizziness and high fever. We ended up in the ER and got in the hospital for a week. I am now against getting kids vaccinated.
