I recently started using Crinone 8% vaginal gel as part of my fertility treatment. The gel contains progesterone, which is essential for supporting early pregnancy. I've been applying it directly into the vagina using the special applicator as instructed. The process is straightforward, but I've had some questions and concerns about the possible side effects. I had a conversation with my doctor, but I'd like to hear from others who have used this product. Has anyone else experienced significant side effects or concerns that aren't mentioned in the documentation? I'm particularly worried about the more serious symptoms like blood clots, liver issues, or allergic reactions. I've seen some vague advice online, but I'd appreciate some more concrete details and suggestions from people who have firsthand experience with this treatment.

I used Crinone for a few cycles and it worked for me the first time. I found it interesting that you need a special applicator. My doctor wasn't sure why but it was like a big syringe and pretty easy to use. I had some discomfort, but I guess in general it was pretty good to use. Don't get too hung up on the side effects. Mine was pretty mild compared to others. I had some light spotting but that was about it. To be honest, I think the worry is worse than the actual side effects. It's a lot for sure, but be careful not to let it overwhelm you. The most annoying thing was the gel. It was pretty thick and I had to warm it up for a minute to get it to flow, but that's the worst thing I can say about it.

Crinone was a lifesaver for me. I couldn't conceive even though my period was normal. Everything seemed fine, but I couldn't get pregnant. I tried it and within two months I was pregnant. It was amazing. People joke about pre-natal vitamins and iron and stuff but everyone loves progesterone. Everyone I know has had success with it. I was so happy and thankful for that. I finally have a baby now. It was worth all the trouble.

I've had a pretty bad experience with Crinone. I don't know if it was a different batch or what, but I've had severe dizziness, and I often felt like I was going to faint. Sometimes, it would be right after I applied the gel, and I'd have to lie down for a bit. I even blacked out at one point. I've also had some serious stomach cramps and bloating, and I’ve been constipated almost the whole time I’ve been on it. I've talked to my doctor and he's having me switch to a different progesterone treatment.

I haven't used Crinone, but I did use progesterone cream for a few months. Instead of the applicator, I just applied the cream with my fingers. I liked it because it was easier. But I had a lot of vaginal discharge and it was really annoying. Also, during the application, I had horrible cramps, but they went away after a few days. I had a lot of blood clots too, but that was all. For a few months, I was fine. I still don't know why I stopped though. Maybe I should try it again.
