I started using Cutivate 0.005% Ointment a few months ago for my eczema, and while it's been effective in reducing redness and itching, I've experienced some concerning side effects. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has had similar issues or can offer some advice. I've had some burning and stinging, which isn't too bad, but I've also noticed some thin skin around the application area. I'm a bit worried about the potential long-term effects. On the plus side, my eczema is much better managed. Has anyone else experienced these issues, and if so, how did you handle them? I'd love to hear some tips or warnings from others who have used this medication.

I had some skin irritation and itching, but it was manageable. Just make sure to moisturize well and stay hydrated.

I've had some of the same issues, but my dermatologist said that these side effects are common and usually manageable. Just make sure to keep your doctor in the loop about any changes.

I've been using Cutivate for a while and haven't had any major side effects, but I've had some burning and stinging too. Nothing too bad, though. Make sure to use it exactly as prescribed and keep an eye on any changes in your skin.

I used this for a while and didn't have any issues, but I didn't use it for long. If you're using it regularly, just be vigilant and talk to your doctor.

I had a severe allergic reaction to Cutivate. I had hives and swelling all over my face. I had to go to the ER. It was terrifying. Be careful!

I switched to a different ointment because of the thinning skin issue. It's scary stuff. I would recommend talking to your doctor about alternative treatments if the side effects bother you too much.

I’ve never had an issue with it, but I’ve also never used it for extended periods. Just make sure to give your skin a break and not overuse it.

Holy crap, those side effects sound awful. I'll stick with my natural remedies, thanks.
