Hello everyone, I've recently started using Cuvitru 2gm/10ml Inj, 10ml for my primary immunodeficiency. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication, especially regarding the side effects. The list of potential side effects is quite long and a bit scary. Has anyone experienced any of the serious side effects like trouble breathing or severe allergic reactions? I'm also interested in hearing about any less severe side effects and how you've managed them. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Kind of off topic, but does anyone know if there are any alternatives to Cuvitru? I'm just curious if there are other options out there.

Wow, I hope the side effects go away! How much longer did yours last? Did you have to switch meds?

I had a pretty bad reaction to Cuvitru when I first started. I woke up with a severe rash and had trouble breathing. I went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. I'm on a different medication now.

I had a stomach ache for a day. I think the pain is worse on Cuvitru. The injection itself has no pain, but the aftermath has some side effects.

My doctor told me that the serious side effects are rare. But still, it's scary to think about. I always keep a list of the symptoms by my phone just in case. It's important to be vigilant.

I've been on Cuvitru for about a year now. The injection site irritation is the worst for me, but I've found that applying a cold compress before and after really helps. I haven't experienced any of the serious side effects, thankfully.

Take it from someone who's dealt with the full list of side effects: Cuvitru is not for the faint-hearted. I had a cough that lasted for weeks. Doctors say it can cause liver failure too.

For those experiencing severe side effects, it's crucial to contact your doctor immediately. Don’t wait it out—get medical help right away. My doctor warned me about the potential for aseptic meningitis, so I’m extra careful with symptoms like fever and headache, since they could be signs of that.

It’s amazing how different people react to the same medicine. I’ve had no side effects, but my friend had a fever and chills. If you’re feeling any of the serious symptoms, trust your instincts and get it checked out.

I'm not sure this is the right medication for me. I've been feeling really tired and weak since I started using it, plus some swelling. Is this normal?
