Cuvposa is a liquid medicine used to help reduce excessive drooling in children with certain medical conditions. It works by decreasing the amount of saliva your child's body makes. I've been giving it to my daughter for a few months now, and while it has helped with the drooling, I've noticed some side effects that I'm not sure about. Has anyone else had experience with Cuvposa? I'd love to hear about any side effects you've encountered and how you've managed them. Also, are there any tips or tricks for administering the medication that others have found helpful? The taste isn't great, so I'm looking for ways to make it more palatable for my daughter. Thank you in advance!

I’ve found that administering the medicine at the same time every day helps my child get used to the routine. Consistency makes a big difference.

Be extra cautious with the side effects. My nephew had some serious reactions, and it was scary. Make sure you know the signs of an allergic reaction and what to do if they occur.

My kid hates the taste too. I mix it with a bit of juice to make it more palatable. It’s a bit of a hassle, but worth it to see the drooling decrease.

Dry mouth is a common side effect. Make sure your child has plenty of water to stay hydrated. It’s also a good idea to check with your doctor about using a saliva substitute if the dryness becomes really bothersome.

I think Cuvposa is a godsend. My son's excessive drooling was causing some skin irritation around his mouth, and this medicine has made a world of difference. Just don't forget to report any side effects to the FDA if they become a problem. They need to know about any issues that can arise to help improve the drug.

Has anyone tried using a syringe without the needle to give the medicine? It’s a bit easier to control the dose that way.

Cuvposa has been a lifesaver for us. The reduced drooling has made a huge difference in our daily routine. Just keep an eye on any unusual symptoms and consult your doctor if needed.

I've been using this too. It's a bit tricky to get the dose right but my kid is doing better. Definitely talk to your doctor about any concerns!
