I've been prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 5mg Tablets for muscle spasms, after a car accident. I have been taking them for 3 days, and while they do help with the pain, I've been feeling extremely dizzy, and at times confused, and I can't get to sleep. Is this normal or should I speak to my doctor? I'm pretty worried. I wanted to know about all of you have experienced, and if someone can tell me about the side effects, or if I should be worried.

I had a bad reaction to this medication, and it gave me bad hives, and it was itchy all over. Wash the medication down with water and then, lay down and rest. Remember it is not for long-term use, so don't think it is a cure all.

I took them for a few days after a back injury and they worked fine for me. No side effects. Maybe you're having a bad reaction? You should definitely call your doctor.

I've taken these for years and never had any issues. Maybe you're taking too high of a dose? Talk to your doctor about lowering it. If you're injured, maybe try some physical therapy too, to help strengthen the muscles.

I've had no side effects, but I've been taking them for years. You would think they would be more effective if you only take them for a few days. Dizziness, plus fatigue and weakness are listed as common side effects. Maybe try taking them with food, or right before bed.
