I've been prescribed Cyclobenzaprine 5mg Tablets for muscle spasms and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken this medication. How effective has it been for you in relieving pain and stiffness? I've heard mixed reviews about the side effects and I'm particularly worried about dizziness and feeling tired. Have any of you experienced more serious side effects like allergic reactions or serotonin syndrome? I'd love to know more about how you managed these side effects and any tips you might have. Also, since it's usually prescribed for short periods, how did you handle the transition once you stopped taking it?

I was worried about the side effects but honestly, I didn't experience any of the serious ones. I did get a bit of a headache once or twice a week, and my mouth felt a bit dry, but it was nothing compared to the pain relief I got from the medication. If you're thinking about taking it, don't let the side effects scare you too much. Just be aware and cautious.

I took Cyclobenzaprine for 3 weeks and it worked well for my muscle spasms. I did feel a bit sleepy but just took it before bed and was fine. One thing to watch out for is the potential for serotonin syndrome if you're on other medications.

Thanks all for sharing your experiences! I started taking it today and it's a bit early to tell but I'm hoping for the best. Fingers crossed for no side effects!

I felt dizzy and a bit nauseous for the first few days but it went away. It was great for my back spasms, I highly recommend talking to your doctor about it. But be sure to take it exactly as prescribed and don't drive or operate any machinery until you know how it affects you.

This is the best for relieving muscle spasms. Just started it this week and it's been a game-changer. A bit tired after taking it but no other side effects so far.

Be really careful with this medication if you're taking other drugs. I ended up in the ER with serotonin syndrome because I didn't realize how it interacted with my antidepressants. It was scary, but thankfully I'm okay now. Always double-check with your doctor.
