I've been on Dextroamphetamine for a year now and it's been a game-changer for my ADHD. The restlessness and trouble sleeping were tough at first, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it got better. Definitely worth talking to your doc if you're having issues. As for appetite, I snack on high-protein foods throughout the day to keep my energy up.
Just a heads up, if you're dealing with insomnia, try to avoid caffeine after noon and maybe even reduce your dosage if you can. I tapered myself off and it helped a ton!

I can't believe someone would take this medication and experience hallucinations. I've never heard of that before. I've had some pretty crazy side effects and I don't know if they are from this drug. I've had some really bad hallucinations and some muscle twitching that's pretty bizarre. I don't know if it's the actual drug or something else I'm taking with it. I'm actually considering switching meds, but it's really hard to tell what's going on here with all the different things people are saying.
I've been on Dextroamphetamine for a while and had some side effects and have not had any reoccurrence, thanks to some changes in diet and the exercise regime recommended by my doctor. I've also found that staying hyper-hydrated helps a lot with the dry mouth and some of the other side effects.
