I've recently started taking Tivicay 50mg (Dolutegravir) for my HIV treatment. I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication. How have you handled the side effects, and what tips can you share to make the experience smoother? I've heard some people experience severe side effects, but I'm hoping to get personal experiences and advice on managing them. Have any of you experienced the rare but serious side effects like allergic reactions or liver problems? How did you cope with them? Also, are there any specific steps you take to manage the more common side effects like headaches or fatigue? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I started Tivicay a few weeks before my last checkup. My doctor ran a test and noticed that I had some signs of liver problems. I stopped taking the medication immediately and went on a different drug. I feel fine now. I recommend everyone to go on regular checkups and keep the lines of communication open with your doctor.

I've been on Tivicay for almost 2 years now. I feel a bit tired and weak sometimes, but overall, it's manageable. I've experienced some mild symptoms after a few months, but my doctor said it's normal. I'm just trying to stay strong and keep fighting.

I've been on Tivicay for about a year now, and honestly, I've only had minor side effects like headaches. I find that staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest helps a lot. I also use over-the-counter pain relievers if the headaches get bad.

I've been on Tivicay for a few months and I've had a few side effects. I started feeling really tired and had trouble sleeping. Putting myself on a sleep schedule and making sure I go to bed and wake up at the same time 7 days a week has made a big difference. In terms of feeling tired, I try to take midday naps and I drink more coffee. It's a lot more manageable now.
