Hi everyone, I recently started taking Deferasirox 90mg Oral Granules to manage my excess iron levels due to frequent blood transfusions. I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like kidney and liver problems. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. How did you manage any side effects, and did you notice any improvement in your condition? Also, how does anyone find it to taste like and does it affect your diet? It's a bit difficult for me to manage all the dietary restrictions, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has found similar problems.

I'm new to this medication, so can anyone share some tips on how to manage the potential side effects? I'm particularly worried about the kidney and liver problems. Also, does anyone know if there are any long-term side effects? I want to make sure I'm prepared for whatever comes up.

I had to stop taking Deferasirox because of severe skin reactions. It was terrifying, and I had to seek immediate medical attention. If you experience any skin issues, don't wait—get help right away. I ended up switching to a different iron chelation therapy, and it's been much better for me. It's all about finding what works best for your body.

I'm glad I found this thread. I was just prescribed Deferasirox and was feeling a bit overwhelmed. It's reassuring to hear that others have had positive experiences. I'll definitely take your advice and stay in touch with my doctor. Let's hope my experience will be just as good!

This medication has been a lifesaver for me. I have thalassemia and was experiencing severe iron overload, my doctor recommended that I take this medication and it has improved my condition significantly. But I have to say, the side effects were tough to deal with at first. I experienced some diarrhea and stomach pain, but my doctor adjusted the dosage, and it got better. It's crucial to stay in close contact with your healthcare provider.

I was really nervous about taking this medication because of the potential side effects, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I've had a couple of mild stomach issues, but nothing too severe. I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience is different, so don't let the side effects scare you off if you need this medication.

My reason for prescribing deferasirox was to prevent iron overload. It's all about prior knowledge, experience, and good touch with the patient. It is also important to note the impact of our diet and overall health in this case.
