I've recently started using Depo-Medrol for my arthritis, and I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. I have read up on the possible side effects and want to know if anyone else has experienced any of the urgent side effects listed. For those who have used it, what were your experiences like? What do the injections feel like? Also, did you have any issues with stopping and restarting this medication? I'm specifically curious about any long-term side effects you might have faced. Lastly, what tips do you have for managing the side effects or general tips for dealing with the medication in general?

Did anyone else have trouble with new or worsening mental, mood, or behavioral changes? I'm not sure if it's the medication or just my stress levels.

I've heard some crazy things about Depo-Medrol, but it's been fine for me so far. Knock on wood.

I got hives and had to go to the ER. Not fun, so be aware of that possibility. It's rare, but it happens.

Take it from someone who's been there: the injection itself doesn't feel great, but the relief afterward is worth it. Just brace yourself and get it over with. Also keeping some water or an electrolyte drink nearby, as you might feel a little dehydrated after the shot.

I've been using Depo-Medrol for over a year now, and I haven't had any major issues. Just keep an eye on your blood sugar levels and stay hydrated. My doctor also recommended taking calcium supplements to counteract the bone loss risk.

Depo-Medrol helped me a lot with my allergies, but I did experience some nausea and insomnia. Make sure to discuss any side effects with your doctor. They can help you manage them effectively.
