I recently started taking Desipramine 150mg Tablets for depression, and I'm curious about others' experiences with this medication. It's a tricyclic antidepressant, and it's taken me a few weeks to start feeling the effects. I've read about some potential side effects, but I'm still a bit uncertain about what to expect. Has anyone else taken this medication? How did you find it? Any tips on managing side effects?

I was on it for too long and stopped it suddenly. Then I developed something called Bradycardia. It basically lowers your heart rate. But it went away after a few months. So, be careful when stopping this medication. I have recommended you not to stop taking this medication.

I changed from Prozac to desipramine. The change was tough for me. The Prozac was more sedating and that helped me fall asleep more naturally. Desipramine made me tired but it was a different kind of tired, the kind of tired where I felt like I was drunk. I also felt like the desipramine made me less sensitive to pain, and the emotional pain was better, but the physical pain was worse.

How long before you feel better? For the 1st 4 months I felt very strange, then I slowly started feeling crap. Then my ed started getting worse, then my memory issues got worse. Now I'm starting to get dizzy and have blurry vision, and i have to pee every 20 minutes.

I've been on Desipramine for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my depression. Initially, I felt dizzy and a bit weak, but those symptoms faded within a couple of weeks. The most challenging side effect for me has been the dry mouth, but drinking plenty of water helps.

I had a bad experience with Desipramine. I stopped it after 2 weeks because I couldn't handle it. I felt constantly dizzy and weak, and the dizziness got so bad that I had to stop driving. I switched to another antidepressant and felt much better with it but that one was too much for me. Then I got put on Citalopram. That didn't work for me at all. But I did feel some improvement with this one.

It's so strange that everyone is talking about side effects and no one mentions the benefits. i feel like a human again for the first time in years. It takes a while for it to work and I had horrible side effects for a month or two but its been the best decision of my life. I feel so much better than I did.

I’m glad I saw this post. I was taking Desipramine and was really struggling with what I thought might be injury but I'm not sure if it was actually a side effect that was making me feel like my body was being manipulated. I'm worried that something more serious is going on. I was worried and stopped taking it.

hi, I'm new to this. I have some other questions. Can this drug make you gain weight?
