Have any of you tried the Desloratadine ODT 2.5mg Tablets for allergy relief? This antihistamine is supposed to dissolve quickly on your tongue, no water needed, conveniently dissolving. But what does the experience feel like? Does the convenience come with strong enough relief? How do you make it work when your allergies are severe? Alternatively, have you experienced unexpected side effects? I have only taken this tablet a couple of times but I wonder if the potential side effects are worth the convenience of no water..

I've noticed that I sometimes feel a bit more tired after taking it, but overall, it's manageable. The real issue is that it hasn't been as effective against my seasonal allergies as I'd hoped. I've also experienced some dry mouth, which is annoying.

I switched from the regular desloratadine tablets to these ODTs, and my allergies seem to be just as under control. The tablets don't last as long as I'd like. My mouth feels dry after taking them, but I don't know why I didn't realize that would happen.

My throat gets really dry. I always grab a water after taking one of these tablets.

I've been using Desloratadine ODT for a few months now, and I must say, the convenience of dissolving it on my tongue is a game-changer. It's been great when I'm in a rush or can't easily get water, but it's not always as effective as some other antihistamines I've tried.
