I've been prescribed Desyrel 300mg Tablets (Trazodone) for depression and to help with insomnia. The doctor mentioned it could help with both conditions, but the side effects list is quite long and somewhat concerning. Has anyone else tried this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. How did you manage any side effects, and did you notice significant improvements in your mood and sleep patterns? I'm particularly interested in hearing from those who have used it for insomnia, as my sleep issues are a major part of my struggle.

Has anyone else experienced the 'priapism' side effect? It's listed as a rare side effect but it's pretty scary. I'm going to be honest, it's a bit of a deal breaker for me.

I started taking Trazodone for depression and it really helped with my anxiety too. I did have some weird dreams at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Also, I had some issues with my mouth getting really dry so I kept a water bottle with me all the time.

When I started Trazodone, the first few days were rough. I felt super sleepy and a bit dizzy. But after a week, I felt more stable and my sleep improved a lot. My doctor told me to take it right before bed and it worked out. Also, cut down on caffeine — made a big difference

I've been on Desyrel for a while and it's been great for my depression. I started with 150mg and worked up to 300mg. My doctor monitored me closely and it made a huge difference. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Staying hydrated helped a lot. I wouldn't recommend driving at first until you see how it affects you

I found that taking Desyrel on an empty stomach helped with the nausea. Also, if you're experiencing dry mouth, sucking on sugar-free candies or chewing gum can help a lot.

I've been on Desyrel for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my insomnia. I sleep through the night now, which is something I haven't done in years. As for side effects, I've experienced some dizziness and dry mouth, but nothing too awful.

I was really hesitant to try Desyrel because of the side effects, but my doctor assured me that they're rare and that many people tolerate it well. I'm glad I gave it a shot because it has genuinely improved my quality of life.
