I've been looking into Lido/Epi 1.5% Inj, 30ml for an upcoming medical procedure and wanted to know what others' experiences have been like. This local anesthetic, which combines Lidocaine and Epinephrine, is designed to numb a specific area and reduce bleeding during procedures. However, the list of potential side effects is quite extensive, and I'm curious to hear from anyone who has used it before. How safe is it in your opinion? Have you experienced any of the side effects? How good is the numbness?

This is why I always ask for a generic numbing solution. I don’t feel like dealing with the potential side effects of Epinephrine. But sometimes your doctor will specifically recommend it, especially for surgeries involving a lot of bleeding.

I had a procedure with this and it worked great for numbing the area. My doctor warned me about the side effects but I didn't experience any. The Epinephrine helped control the bleeding really well.

I had this in a tattoo session. The bleeding was minimal, and it wasn’t too painful. No major side effects at all. The worst part was the shaking afterwards. Things were better with some water and rest.

I've had Lido/Epi used in a few procedures. First, the feeling of numbness isn't like you would think, you'll struggle to feel what's happening but will still know it's happening in a way. The side effects are a bit scary. The Epinephrine can cause some pretty bad anxiety and shakiness. I’ve felt really lightheaded and dizzy afterwards. Make sure you have someone to take you home. But if you tolerate it well, the numbing effect is great.
