I've been prescribed Dextroamphetamine 15mg ER Capsules for my ADHD and have had a few questions and concerns about the side effects and warnings. Has anyone else experienced any of these serious side effects? Did you experience any of the more common side effects like dizziness, headache, or trouble sleeping? Were they temporary, or did they persist for a while? I'd love to hear your experiences and how you managed to deal with them. Also, what are your thoughts on the heart-related warnings? Do any of you have any heart problems or a family history of them? Did your doctor have any specific advice for you? Lastly, how do you manage the trade-off between the potential side effects and the benefits of the medication?

I've had some trouble with muscle pain and stiffness. It's not fun, but I figure it's a small price to pay for the improvement in my ability to function normally.

I've had a few weeks of using this medication, and so far, no issues. I feel like I’m more focused and have more energy during the day. I hope it stays that way. My doctor said some side effects might happen later, so I’ll be on the lookout for those.

I've had some serious side effects with this med. I experienced some severe allergic reactions like hives and itching. I had to stop taking it and find something else. Be careful, and always be on the lookout for bad reactions.

I take the meds for narcolepsy, and it's made a huge difference in my daily life. I'm awake during the day, and I feel focused. It's worth dealing with a little bit of dry mouth.

I get the heart-related warnings, but my doctor was pretty thorough about monitoring my heart. I have regular check-ups, and so far, no issues. It's a good idea to have a family history check before starting this med.

I had a bit of a scare with some changes in my vision. I called my doc right away, and they told me to stop taking the meds. Turned out I was having a rare side effect, but I'm fine now. Be vigilant, folks.

I had a doctor tell me the potential for serotonin syndrome is a big deal, especially if you're on other meds. I have to be super careful about what else I take. It can be a pain, but I trust my doc knows best.

I've been on Dextroamphetamine for a couple of months now, and I've had some dizziness and trouble sleeping. It's been manageable, though. I take the medication in the morning and try to avoid caffeine after 2 PM. It's been helping me a lot with my focus at work.

My biggest issue is weight loss. I'm constantly worried about my eating habits, and my doctor said it's a common side effect. But it's helping me so much with my ADHD that I think it's worth it.

I don't have much to say, just wanted to chime in and say my experience with this med has been good. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than before. Just keep an eye on those side effects!
