I recently started using Dextromethorphan ER 30mg/5ml Liq for my persistent cough, and I've been impressed with how well it works. The extended-release formula has been a game-changer, providing relief for up to 12 hours. However, I've also experienced some side effects and I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with similar issues. Specifically, I've noticed some mild dizziness and drowsiness, which I assume is due to the way the drug works to calm the cough reflex. Has anyone else experienced different or more severe side effects? It's a bit concerning whether this is normal or not. I understand it might be due to how it affects your brain, but I want to make sure I'm not experiencing something unusual. Has anyone else had similar experiences, or does anyone know if these side effects are common? I'd really appreciate any advice or shared experiences!

I tried this medication and it made me feel really weird. Like, I couldn't concentrate on anything. I'm not sure if it was the dizziness or something else, but I had to stop taking it.

I had a bad experience with it. I had some flu-like symptoms and major dizziness, and I suspect it was from the medication. Be sure to keep an eye on how you feel and stop taking it if you have any serious side effects. If something feels really wrong, go to the doctor! It's not worth risking your health.

I think the side effects might be worth it if this stuff works well. I've tried a bunch of other cough medicines and nothing really worked, so this could be a lifesaver.

Just want to say you’re searching for unwise if you’re taking this for recreation.

Dextromethorphan ER 30mg/5ml Liq has been a lifesaver for me too. It's the only thing that has given me real relief from my cough. I haven't had any severe side effects, but I did experience some mild dizziness at first. It went away after a few days though.
