So, I've been using Dibucaine 1% Ointment for the past week to deal with some hemorrhoid issues. I've had my fair share of discomfort and pain, so I decided to give this a shot. It works by numbing the skin, which has helped a lot with the pain and itching. I applied it after each bowel movement. The ointment comes in a 28gm tube, which seems like a decent amount for short-term use. However, the instructions were a bit vague on how often to apply it throughout the day, so I've just been using it sparingly to avoid overuse. It's been a lifesaver so far, but I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. Anyone else had experience with this? I read that severe irritation at the site could be a problem, which is scary to think about.

Have you tried any other remedies alongside this? I've heard tea tree oil can help with inflammation if you're looking for a natural alternative. Just don't mix it with the ointment—bad combo!

I've used this before for some minor burns and it worked wonders! Definitely give it a try if you're dealing with hemorrhoids or similar issues.

I had a friend who used this for insect bites and it worked like a charm. No more itching for days! But he did mention some swelling around the area, so keep an eye out for that.

I've seen the rectal side effects listed and it's a bit frightening. If you're applying it to sensitive areas, be extra cautious. Maybe consult a doctor if things get worse.

Dibucaine has been a lifesaver for me when dealing with hemorrhoids. I apply it a few times a day, and it's made the pain and itching manageable. Just be careful not to overdo it, and definitely pay attention to any signs of allergic reactions.

I used it for a minor burn and it worked great. But it numbness can be a bit disorienting at first. Just don't get any on your hands if you're planning to drive or use sharp objects.
