I've been using Diclofenac 1% Gel for about a month now to manage my arthritis pain, and I've had a mix of positive and negative experiences. The gel does a great job of relieving pain and swelling, and I appreciate that it's applied topically so it doesn't affect my stomach like some other pain meds. However, I've experienced some mild side effects like dizziness and stomach pain, and I'm a bit concerned about the more serious side effects listed. I've been reading up on the potential risks and wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or can share some advice on managing these side effects. How do you apply Diclofenac gel safely and effectively? What should I do if I experience more severe side effects? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

This thread has been really helpful. I've been nervous about starting this gel because of all the potential side effects, but hearing from others who've had good experiences makes me feel a bit better. I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes.

I've had a few bad experiences with this gel. The first time I used it, I got a rash all over my arms. I stopped using it, and the rash went away. But then I tried it again a few months later and got the same rash. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I think I'll stick to my other pain management options.

I've been using this gel for about 6 months and I've had no issues. I've read the side effects list a dozen times, but I haven't experienced any of them. I don't know if I'm just lucky or if this gel is just fine for most people. I guess time will tell.

@12345, allergy issues concern me. What if I have a serious reaction? Where can I get an EpiPen safely? Is there a better alternative if I'm too nervous? I want to manage my pain but not at the risk of my life.

I've been using Diclofenac 1% Gel for a while now and I have to say, it's been a lifesaver. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and this gel has really helped with the pain and swelling. I apply it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, and it seems to work best for me. I've also found that applying it before bed helps me sleep better. I just want to share my experience and suggest to anyone who's hesitant to give it a try.

My pain relief is so weird, I'll go a whole day without pain relief, then the next day it's like it was never gone. I've been taking the exact same amount of gel and applying it like the instructions say, so I'm not sure what's going on. I've been considering calling my doctor, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Any advice from users?

I switched to this gel from oral pain meds and haven't looked back. The topical application is a game-changer for reducing GI issues. Just be careful with heat or cold therapy around the application site to maximize effectiveness.
