I was prescribed Diclofenac/misoprostol 75-0.2mg Tab for my arthritis, and I'm curious about other people's experiences with this medication. It's a combination of diclofenac, an anti-inflammatory drug, and misoprostol, which helps protect the stomach from ulcers. However, the side effects list is extensive, and I'm wondering if the benefits outweigh the risks. Has anyone had severe side effects, or has it been generally well-tolerated? The potential for life-threatening reactions like Stevens-Johnson syndrome is frightening, and I'd love to hear from anyone who's been through it and can share their experience.

I had to stop taking it because of severe stomach pain. It felt like I had an ulcer coming on. I switched to a different NSAID without misoprostol and I'm doing much better. It's frustrating because the drug worked well for my pain, but I couldn't risk the stomach issues. Do other people find the misoprostol helpful?

I've been on this for a year and it's been great. The only thing I've noticed is a bit of dizziness, but it's not bad enough to stop taking it. When I was on other NSAIDs before, the stomach pain was a huge issue. It's nice to have the misoprostol for protection. It feels like a safer option.

My parents had a similar prescription, and they were horrified by the side effects list. They felt it was too risky for them. Did they make a mistake? How cautious should we be?

My doctor told me that the combination of diclofenac and misoprostol is a bit old-school, but it's still effective for a lot of people with arthritis. The trade-off with misoprostol is that it saves your stomach from harsh NSAID side effects, but there is potential risk with the kidney. Think it's worth it? Discuss
