I am trying to help my elderly mother get ready for her upcoming Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine appointment. I read the possible side effects, but I would like to hear from real people who have experienced them. What should I do to help her if she gets a fever or other symptoms?

I think all of the vaccines have some side effects, it’s the way our body works to build immunity. My daughter got the Pfizer vaccine, it was the same story, she had a fever and felt sick, but after 3 days she was good.
I got the Moderna vaccine and had no side effects at all. But the nurse told me that it’s normal to get side effects. She said some people get a fever, some get dizziness and some get nausea and vomiting.
Look, side effects are normal for every vaccination. Your mother will be fine. She will feel a little sick for a couple of days but she will be okay.
