I've been using Differin 0.1% Cream for about a month now, and while I've seen some improvement in my acne, the side effects have been brutal. My skin is super dry, itchy, and sometimes even burns. I've been moisturizing like crazy, but it's not helping much. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did you do to make it better? Also, I've read that severe skin irritation could be a thing, and even though I know it's common, the thought of severe skin irritation is scary. I am contact my doctor? I am just seeing if this is common or if I should be worried.

I remember a girl in my college dorm swearing by differin, but she had an allergic reaction to a new laundry detergent and her skin reacted really badly to it. I don't know if that's what's happening to you but maybe something else is causing the reaction?.

I had the same issue and it turned out I was using too much product. Try using a pea-sized amount and see if that helps.

I felt the same way when I first started using Differin. It took a few weeks, but my skin eventually got used to it. Stick with it, but make sure to moisturize and use sunscreen daily!

I've been using Differin for years and never had any issues. Maybe your skin is just sensitive to it. Have you talked to your dermatologist about it?

I had to stop using Differin because of the severe irritation. My doctor suggested I try a lower percentage or a different acne treatment. Everyone's skin is different, so what works for one person might not work for another.

Differin is known for its side effects. If my skin is on fire, then I had to stop using it but I think it made me more acne prone. I have a friend that had to take a break for a couple of weeks to try out a different treatment. You should talk to your doctor if it gets really bad, but you should definitely give it time to adjust too.

Have you tried incorporating a gentle cleanser and hyaluronic acid serum into your skincare routine? It helped me a lot with the dryness.

I had a similar experience and it turned out that my skin was reacting to some other product I was using at the same time, not the differin. Try isolating the products you are using to see if it is the differin or something else.

I had to switch to a different acne treatment because Differin was too harsh for my skin. Everyone's skin is different, so don't feel bad if you have to do the same.

Differin has been a game-changer for my skin, but it did take a while to adjust. I remember feeling like my skin was on fire, but I stuck with it and now it's amazing. It was the worst for the first 6 weeks, but that took a toll on me.
