I've been taking Diltiazem CD 120mg for a few months now to manage my high blood pressure. The medication has been effective in lowering my blood pressure, but I've experienced some side effects that I'd like to discuss. I've noticed some dizziness and fatigue, which have been manageable, but I'm curious to hear about others' experiences. There is an extensive list of possible side effects, and I'd like to know how common the ones I'm experiencing really are, and if they go away with time. Also, how many of you have had to deal with more severe issues such as allergic reactions or liver problems? I’m hoping to get some insights and tips from others who have been on this medication. Additionally, what steps should I take if I experience any of the more serious side effects listed?

I switched to Diltiazem CD from another medication and noticed a big difference in my blood pressure control. However, I did experience some skin irritation initially. I found using a gentle moisturizer helped a lot. If it gets worse, I'd definitely go back to the doctor and try a different medication or dosage.

I love how this medication helps control my angina. No more chest pain for me!

Seriously, if you experience severe dizziness, don’t ignore it. It can be life-threatening. I had to be hospitalized because I ignored some of the symptoms.

I’ve been on Diltiazem CD for a few months and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my angina. No more frequent chest pain so far. I’d recommend it if you're struggling with that.

I've been on Diltiazem CD for a year now, and I've had similar issues with dizziness. It was quite severe for the first few weeks, but it subsided over time. Just make sure to stay hydrated and don’t stand up too quickly. Consult your doctor immediately if it gets worse or if you experience any other severe symptoms.

I've had some mild headaches, but nothing I can't handle with some over-the-counter meds. Has anyone else had similar experiences? And how long did they last?

I've been on Diltiazem CD for a while and while it’s not perfect, I’ve managed to control my blood pressure and angina effectively. Give it some time, but if you’re really struggling, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or switching meds.
