Diltiazem ER 360mg Tablets (la 24h): Experiences, Side Effects, and More!
I recently started taking Diltiazem ER 360mg Tablets for my high blood pressure and I'm curious if anyone else has had experience with this medication. The extended-release formulation is supposed to be taken once a day, but I've heard from a friend that it can sometimes cause dizziness. Are there any other side effects I should be aware of? I've read about some severe ones, but hopefully, those are rare. Also, what has been your experience with this medication? How well has it controlled your blood pressure and any chest pain you might have had? I want to hear both positive and negative experiences.

I switched to Diltiazem ER from another blood pressure medication because I was having trouble with my heart rate. Diltiazem has helped slow it down, but I've had to be careful about my diet and exercise. My doctor told me to avoid drinking grapefruit juice because it can interact with the medication.
Has anyone else had issues with Diltiazem causing strange skin reactions? I've experienced a bit of skin irritation. Nothing severe but still annoying
I had to stop taking Diltiazem ER because it gave me a severe skin reaction. It was really scary, and I had to go to the ER. I'd suggest anyone experiencing skin issues to get medical help immediately.
Diltiazem is great for controlling blood pressure, but be aware of the potential for a slow heartbeat. I had a few episodes where my heart rate was too low, and I had to stop the medication for a while. Talk to your doctor about monitoring your heart rate regularly.
