Diltiazem XR 240mg Capsules (24 Hr): Helpful or Harmful?
I've started taking Diltiazem XR 240mg Capsules and I'm a bit worried about the possible side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of the urgent side effects like severe dizziness or fainting? I know these are rare, but it's still scary to think about. Also, how has your experience been with the other possible side effects like headaches or feeling tired? Does anyone have tips on managing these? I am looking for the positive reviews on this medication also. I have been told it can help with blood pressure. Has anyone noticed this help? I really want to know if it is worth this gamble. What about the side effects that concern liver issues, I know it can be rare but what should i be watching for?

I've heard that some people get really tired on this medication. I haven't experienced dizziness but I will keep an eye out for it. Does anyone take this for a heart rate problem? If so, how is it working.
I take this medication for my high blood pressure and it's working well for me. I just make sure to take it at the same time every day and stay hydrated and it seems to have worked for me so far. I will be talking to my doctor in a few months to see how it is going.
I've been on Diltiazem XR for a few months now, and while I do get headaches sometimes, they're manageable with some ibuprofen. As for the severe side effects, I haven't experienced any. I think it's important to stay in touch with your doctor and report any issues right away this is the only way do this safely though
I wish more people would talk about the positives. My blood pressure has been great. I've had no side effects that bother me.
I stopped taking it because the dizziness was too much. I felt like I couldn't even walk straight sometimes. Definitely talk to your doctor if you start feeling that way I had to go to a different medication
I've been on Diltiazem XR for a year and have had no issues. I think it's important to listen to your body and if something doesn't feel right, talk to your doctor. I've been lucky but I do know it can change
Who else loves the feeling of their heartbeat slowing down? 😒 just kidding, but seriously, if you feel any heart issues, go to the doctor. It's not worth the risk
I had a really bad reaction to this medication. I started getting hives and my throat felt tight. I ended up in the ER. Be careful and if you experience any allergic reactions, go to the hospital right away it can change your life for the worst
I'm new to this medication but I'm already noticing a difference in my chest tightness which I was having daily. But I'm also feeling really fatigued. Is this normal?
I've had good experiences and haven't had any of the major side effects yet. But I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any signs of liver issues. I'm used to medications and I am a bit more cautious than most
