I've been prescribed Disulfiram 250mg Tablets to help me stop drinking alcohol. These tablets work by causing an unpleasant reaction if you drink alcohol while taking them, which helps deter you from drinking. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. I've done some research, but I'd love to hear from others who have used this medication. What were some of the side effects you experienced? How did you manage them? Were there any unexpected benefits or drawbacks? I appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you.

I didn't know this was a drug to help with alcoholism. I've always associated it with Antabuse.

I've been on Disulfiram for about a year now, and while the initial side effects were tough, they've mostly subsided. The biggest challenge was the erectile dysfunction. It was hard on my relationship, but my partner and I worked through it. We're both just happy that I'm sober.

I read about the potential mood changes and behavior changes, but I haven't noticed anything significant yet. However, I did experience some drowsiness and fatigue, which was a bit tough to deal with at first. But it's manageable.

I've been on Disulfiram for a few months now. The first time I drank alcohol by accident, felt like I had been struck by lightning. The flushing, nausea, and headache were intense. But it was such a powerful deterrent. I haven't touched alcohol since.

I've heard that Disulfiram can cause some weird taste changes. Anyone else experience that?

I'm on day 3 of taking disulfiram. So far I haven't felt any different. I hope it works like it's supposed to and helps me get over this nasty habit

I took this medication for a few weeks but found that the side effects were too much to handle. I switched to naltrexone and it's been working much better for me. You have to do what's best for you.

This medication saved my marriage. My wife and I used to fight all the time because of my drinking. But now, I can't even think about drinking. It's been a game-changer.

Disulfiram made me break out in acne like a teenager. It sucked, but it was worth it to stay sober.

I had to stop taking Disulfiram because of the side effects. I experienced severe liver problems, including dark urine, yellow eyes, and extreme fatigue. It was scary, but I'm glad I didn't ignore the symptoms. Always consult a doctor if you experience anything unusual.
