I've been using Divigel 0.1% (1mg/day) Top Gel for about 3 months now to manage my menopause symptoms, and while it's helped with hot flashes, I've been having some concerning side effects. I've noticed some changes in vision, and I'm worried about the possibility of blood clots. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I'm considering speaking to my doctor about it, but I wanted to hear from others who might be going through the same thing. Are these side effects normal, or should I be really concerned?

I've had a lot of issues with weight gain. I mean, sure, I know it's partly due to menopause, but the gel definitely doesn't help. Feels like I've gained 10 lbs in the last few months, but I'm not sure if I should blame the medication. I guess I'll have to discuss this with my doctor too. I feel like I'm on a constant diet but no results, just miserable. I haven't even checked the side effects list. It’s too overwhelming sometimes.

I had pretty bad headaches and dizziness when I started. I was really scared, but my doctor said it might just be my body adjusting to the hormones. It did get better after a few weeks, went away completely after a month. So please don’t lose hope and do keep in touch with your doctor. Always better to be safe.

Divigel really messed up my mood. I was having these weird mood swings and feeling really down. It was like I was having PMS times 10. I talked to my doctor, and we decided to switch to a lower dose. It's been better since then. Hope you find your solution soon too!

I've actually had some good experiences with Divigel. I had really bad hot flashes and night sweats, and this stuff has been a lifesaver. Like, I know my mom had to deal with a lot more when she went through menopause, way more than me and it's scary sometimes to think I might end up like that. So I’m glad that at least the Divigel has been helping me. Hopefully, you’ll find some relief soon too.

I switched from Divigel to a different estrogen cream because I started getting really bad stomach cramps and bloating. It was awful. I'm feeling much better now, so it might be worth trying something else if the side effects are too much to handle. Have you thought about switching?

I've been on Divigel for a while and haven't had any major issues. But I did have some weird swelling in my legs and hands, which I was told is fluid retention. Not fun, but not super scary. I just make sure to drink lots of water and stay hydrated. Did you talk to the doctor about this?

I think it's always worth considering the trade-offs. If Divigel is helping with hot flashes and vaginal dryness, it might be worth sticking with it despite the side effects. I don't think these side effects are rare, but it is important to keep in mind the trade-offs. You can also try to mitigate the side effects with lifestyle changes, like diet and exercise. Have you tried any of that?

I haven't heard of anyone experiencing side effects that bad on Divigel. Did you check the FDA website? There might be more information there about what you're experiencing. I'm definitely worried for you though. Stay in touch with us.. We'll keep up with you even if you don't want to take the gel anymore. Be well!

It sounds like you're having some serious side effects. I'd definitely call your doctor ASAP. You can go online for more information or even call the FDA. Also, there are some support groups on Reddit. Hoping it gets better for you soon!

I've heard that some people get really bad headaches. I had a friend who was using it from the start, but she was literally getting migraines right after the application and had to switch to something else. I would just mention it to the doctor and see.
