I've been prescribed Wixela Inhub Diskus 100/50mcg 60s for my asthma. It contains fluticasone and salmeterol, which are supposed to help with inflammation and opening up my airways. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else used this inhaler? What was your experience like? I'm curious to hear about any side effects you encountered and how you managed them. Also, how does Wixela Inhub compare to other inhalers you've tried? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I've been using Wixela for a year now. I had a bad cold a few months ago, but I'm not sure if that was related to the inhaler. I did have some asthma symptoms while I was sick, but I used my rescue inhaler and got through it.

I used Wixela, had a bad experience with it, and ended up in the ER. I never went back to it, I told my doctor I needed something else. I have some side effects with the inhaler I am using now, but it's keeping me out of the hospital. I feel like the risks are worth it.

I had a bad reaction to the first dose. It was scary. Doctor ran some tests and found out my asthma was triggered by acid reflux. Went to a different inhaler.

Wixela Inhub is actually a generic version of Advair Diskus. I've used Advair for years and the switch was seamless. Just make sure you use your rescue inhaler if you have an asthma attack. This isn't for immediate relief,

I've been using Wixela for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my COPD. I had a bit of throat irritation at first, but it went away after a week. Definitely talk to your doctor about any side effects, they can help you manage them.

This inhaler is great, but it's super expensive. I'm paying out of pocket. My insurance doesn't cover this one. Insurance did cover Advair, but I hear it's the same?

Wixela has been a lifesaver for my asthma. I used to use Symbicort but switched to Wixela, and it is much cheaper. I haven't had any side effects to report so far, touch wood.
